Leather Sourcing
LC Enterprises Private Limited also sources sustainable leather from tanneries which are committed to create, promote and sell leather that is more social and environment friendly.
The process of leather tanning requires significant amounts of hazardous chemicals and dyes that can have negative health implications for workers, and pollute waterways and land surrounding the tanneries.
In order to combat the issue of chemical management, the suppliers we work with ensure that all the leathers used in our products is compliant with REACH regulations, audited by Restricted Substances List (RSL) and certified by Gold rated Leather Working Group (LWG), the kind of accreditations that not only help us better understand the complex nature of our supply chains, but also provide us with responsible sourcing assurance.
Infrastructure
We have a BSCI audited infrastructure with integrated systems. We have in-house embroidery machines, stitching machines, washing units and so on, ensuring highest level of productivity and craftsmanship.

Quality Process & Wastage Disposal
LC Enterprises Private Limited invests in suppliers and projects that support local skills and community development. 11 years of fashion, design and manufacturing with global partners from across the world has helped us direct our vision towards building sustainable businesses, an example of which being our longstanding partnership with Paiwand Studio. We send all the leather waste to the unit which is then cleaned and assorted as per colours and different fibre types, cut into strips and woven into a new fabric. The repurposed fabric is then sold back to clients at a higher value so that they can create a sustainable range for themselves. The process is very circular, ensuring least wastage and combating the issue of landfills.
