Traceability
LC Enterprises Private Limited goes through a complete verification and validation of our manufacturing from raw material to finished product, right from the traceability of animals from the farm, their welfare standards, the key focus is on water and energy, treatment and recycling of water, efficiencies and chemical usage, and transparency. Our partner, Eurofins VLC, a premier institute for clean process management develops a concise report, table every pointer required to adhere to norms of compliance and sustainability and approves the shipment.
We are implementing new tanning methods wherein high exhaust salt free chrome tanning system, guaranteeing non formation of any chrome M6. The shaving from the process is easily treated and the residues are recycled. We have also collaborated with technicians across the globe that establish vegetable tan leathers based on ecologically sustainable polivan process. The use of renewable products in this process ensures result on leathers with excellent biodegradable profile. The entire sustainability process focuses on strict animal standards, recycling and treatment of water, conservation of energy, waste avoidance, recycling and reuse of biomass. By working closely with suppliers and technicians, we’re able to reduce our carbon, water and waste footprint, limit chemical and pesticide usage, prevent deforestation and protect fresh water and biodiversity.
